DMCA Policy
Last updated: September 2026
Avidder respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects users of the Site to do the same. Avidder does not host, store, or maintain a library of copyrighted media — each download is processed on request and delivered directly to the person who requested it, with nothing retained on our servers afterward.
Our position
Avidder is a tool intended for downloading content you own, have explicit permission to save, or that's licensed for reuse. We do not encourage, condone, or knowingly assist copyright infringement, and we reserve the right to restrict access to the Site for anyone we believe is using it to violate the rights of others.
Filing a takedown notice
If you're a copyright holder (or authorized to act on one's behalf) and believe content processed through Avidder infringes your copyright, you can send a notice to [email protected] including:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed.
- The specific URL or link processed through Avidder that you believe infringes your rights.
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, and email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.
- Your physical or electronic signature.
What happens after a notice is received
Because Avidder doesn't store downloaded files, there's typically no file on our servers to remove. Where a valid notice identifies a specific source URL, we may block that URL from being processed through the Site going forward, and may take action against accounts or usage patterns associated with repeated infringement.
Counter-notices
If you believe a URL was blocked in error, you may submit a counter-notice to the same email address, including your contact information, identification of the blocked link, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the block was made in error.
Repeat infringement
We reserve the right to restrict Site access for anyone associated with repeated, credible infringement claims.
